This page explains how information is handled when you visit or contact Dino Shand through this website.

Who is responsible
This website is run by Dino Shand, an independent web designer and developer based in Jamaica. I am responsible for the information you send through it. You can reach me at contact@dinoshand.dev.
What the contact form collects
If you send an enquiry, the form collects your name, email address, selected project type and message. I use this information to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you requested. I do not sell it, share it for advertising or add you to a marketing mailing list.
Emails you receive
When you submit the form, you receive one automatic confirmation email that your enquiry arrived. Any further emails are direct replies about your enquiry or project.
Updates and offers for clients
If you become a client, I may email you occasional updates about your website and offers on my services. These are sent from my Gmail account, and each one has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops these emails straight away; messages about your own project and requests still arrive.
Client records
If we work together, I keep your contact details, plan, payments and change requests in a password-protected admin workspace that only I can access, with short private notes where needed.
WhatsApp, phone and email
If you contact me by WhatsApp, phone or email instead of the form, those messages are handled through those services and kept in my normal inbox or message history. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
Where your information goes
Enquiries are stored in a private Neon database. The configured outbound email provider handles notification emails and may process your name, email address and enquiry details to deliver those messages. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to my domain email address to my inbox.
Form protection and security
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions are legitimate and may process technical information about your browser and device to do so. The site keeps hashed, temporary rate-limiting identifiers to reduce abuse, rather than storing the raw request IP address with your enquiry. The public website does not set tracking cookies. Essential administrator session cookies are used only for the private admin workspace.
Analytics
If website analytics are enabled, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic. It does not use cookies to identify individual visitors. I do not intentionally send enquiry messages or contact form fields as analytics events. Site traffic totals are viewed separately from the private enquiry inbox.
How long information is kept
Enquiries and any related notes remain in the private inbox until they are no longer needed or are manually deleted. I periodically clear expired security rate-limit records. There is currently no automatic schedule that deletes enquiry messages.
Access, corrections or deletion
To ask what information I hold about you, or to request that I correct or delete it, email contact@dinoshand.dev. I will respond as soon as practical. You may also contact me using the links on the homepage.
External services
Website infrastructure, email delivery and abuse prevention are provided by Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare, Google (Gmail, for client updates) and the configured outbound email provider. Their own privacy notices explain additional processing they perform as service providers.
Changes to this notice
If the way this website handles information changes, I will update this page and the date above. Use of the website is also covered by the terms of use.
This notice covers the Dino Shand website only, not the independent websites or services linked from the portfolio. Client project data is handled under the agreement for that project.
